About us

The River Roding Trust was established in 2019 to clear the river of litter, trolleys, general dumped items alongside reinstalling the riverside path from Barking and constructing benches all the way to Ilford – reopening the river path for all to enjoy.

We buy materials and tools currently out of our own pockets. With the support of the community and volunteers we plan to turn this into a bountiful habitat once more that sees kingfishers, swans, fish, owls and all manner of animals enjoy it. We hope for your support to improve the quality of neighbourhoods and restoring what was a beautiful river and ecosystem.

We need your help to achieve our dream of a clean river!

Thank you for your support!

Yours sincerely,
